It’s been a good year! We started out in summer and had our first groups in June. During summer we had a lot of rentals and guided kayak tours. We also had a couple of german newspapers here and Visit Sweden came out for a visit. In October we attended ATWS in Tuscany – meeting old and new friends from the industry, both buyers and suppliers. Now looking forward to a new year with loads of activities – more info is coming soon!

About a month ago (sorry about the delay) Linda visited Tuscany and the Adventure Travel World Summit 2019. An international conference arranged by the world wide organization ATTA. During the four days it was a huge focus on sustainable tourism. But not so much about what we can do about it, and I know, it’s difficult. Tourism can cause a lot of problems, but it can also help us keep our woods and waters. I’ll write more about this later… I have a lot to say/write about this!

I didn’t see much of the town though, kept running at lectures and meetings from early morning til late night. But – these are the places where it all took place – so beautiful surroundings!
And next year – Sweden! Looking forward to a ATWS at home!
Last week during a hike in Dalarna, and some mountainbiking in Trysil, Norway. The destinations are about 6-7 hrs drive from our area and at the moment we do not have any organised tours here. But if you have the time – we can also recommend a trip to this area!
We’re in a project at the moment – working with ATTA, Visit Sweden, Visit Östergötland and Tillväxtverket among others. It’s about a big Adventure Travel Congress – the ATWS (Adventure Travel World Summit) that’ll be held in Gothenburg in Sept 2019. Linda was on a two-day conference on Malmö about a week ago, meeting other companies within the industry. Met a lot of both old and new friends.
When we checked out from the hotel – Dalai Lama checked in – how cool? Next conference will be in Tuscany, Italy in October.
